psyched!!! going XIANG KANG in 2 days time!!! woo-hoo~ come to think of it ... been a long long time since i been there .. 7 years? ohhhhhh!!! i want to fly there straight away!!! i'm going to come back with a hole in my wallet!! must must have a hole in my wallet ... then it will be a successful trip! 17 ppl going altogether (all my dad's kakis) mostly girls, around my age (no bitch fights i hope!) tee-hee~ psyched psyched psyched!!! if only ... i can actually go overseas trip with a few close friends :D how wonderful!! but now ..
the mission is clear: SHOPPING!

anyway, jason dear got me a music box*parts ... yup only the inside of the music box. really cool and very addictive ... all i do is just turn and turn and turn the thing. over and over and over again. i do get bored of the tune. but i never get bored of turning it .. wonder why .. heh! but is an interesting toy to play with. and is so small, i slip it inside my little bag (yes, manda ... i know you hated my small cute GUESS bag!) and show ppl the nice music box*parts (: (:

social night part2 - delta socialising/rj-hc prom reunion/marriage proposal
went to my second social night. the objective was lost completely. 'gentlemanly' aint the main focus for the night. everyone wanders around themselves. making it, really a SOCIALISING night. which is good (: i like. met soooo many ppl! everyone was busy catching up, chit-chatting. the 'dates' aint even 'bined' together. most of the time, i'm wandering around myself, catching up with old friends, and acquaitances (:

ppl i meet: fred,fuwei,debo,justin(classmates!) liyan(softball!) weide,his date,qiyan,his date,shawntan,his date,horse-face?,his date,aaron gan,his date(njc-ians!) eunice,jamie,jeanette(crescent!) kwangxiong,evangeline,meixi(smu classmates!meixi-future uni-mates!) charmaine(smu lkc scholarship teammates!) angeline,alan,a few others(firefly scholarship teammates!) a girl who also went for the sierra social night(haha! we said hi, then we promised to pretend that we dont know each other, she is the one who went for ocs trng too! but quit aftr 2 weeks) alison(rjc softballer! enemies? haha ... her date was justin who happen to be fred's buddy) & a few others who i cant connect the face to the time i saw/meet/know them ...

like i mention earlier, the place is populated with rj/hc ... making the whole event a reunion for them actually ... but i dont mind (: the atmosphere was much more livelier. the whole setting/ambience is just right to make friends and 'socialise', my table was pretty rowdy and fun (social night 1, the mood was rather pristine and really too 'polite'-ish) ... food was buffet style (haha! thank goodness ... i was really hoping for buffet. chinese dinners are simply too draggy) THE PINES's food is not bad actually (: didnt get to drink the soup and eat the bread thoo .. argh :( i'm a bread lover!!

the dates got a flower each and the guys got a really cool keychain bearing their dragon logo, place in a box that looks like those boxes to put rings ... :/ i rather have the keychain than the flower ... table arrangment was sucky tho. it was free seating. but platoon 3 got the back part of the room. making it super hard to see what's going on stage. most of us ended up standing up to see the event happening infront.

entertainment wise, it was pretty okay. lots of preparations were done to make plenty of cold/cool jokes. while sierra's was more of an impromptu and highlights involve more on the audience participation. the highlight for the night was a game ... which turn out ... to be a realllyyyy important game for 2 person among all of us.

guys and their dates are invited to the stage (after much cojoling and sabotaging). the guys got to wear this LBD? suit which has lots and lots and lots of pockets. on the other hand, the dates got to find equiptment hidden in all the pockets. the guys aint allowed to touch the suit. but can only instruct the girls on locations to find the stuffs. haha .. it must be difficult to find, cuz the game was pretty looooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg ...
FINALLY! one of the date found THE RING! heh, yes it was for a marriage proposal. the rest of the ppl went down the stage, leaving the odd couple behind. lights were dimmed and the spotlight was shone on them. the guy (one of the big officers) went to his knees with flowers and the ring on one hand and the mike on the other. the girl was shocked, flabbergasted,keep on laughing non stop! it was a reallly mussy speech the guy make, "corinne i love you ............... its going to be a tough journey .................... i want to wake up everday to hear u, touch u, feel u, smell u, kiss u ..................................... kiss away ur tears ............................. i'm making this proposal infront of all my brothers ............................................................. will you marry me?" (some excerpts of the speech) haha ...
i think the girl is just too shock. maybe she is in a dilemma or somethink. she is afterall infront of soooo many STRANGERS! younger than her somemore. haha. that's why, i think, she said YES. lol! but it was really sweet and touching. everyone was chanting .. "yes yes yes yes ..." hah! apparently all the male species in the occassion were aware of it. only the females werent. cuz the main lead was afraid that if the girls know bout it, and gossip at the toilet, his date may hear .. and it wont be fun anymore. interesting, aint it?

oh, i got to leave bfr the whole event ends, rush home with a cab myself. (stupid sister of mine, threaten to lock the door and said other frightful things >.<) so, end of part 2.

i think each occassion has its own good and bad.
really appreciates the gentlemanly gestures for the part1
really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and people for the part2
i think that's the end of it. no more part 3 ... hehe~
