BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE

for the first time ever, i'm super excited to blog!!!

today morning, i went for breakfast at suntec's food republic (half bowl of porridge) then my mum sent me to the GP clinic to get the results of my blood test. There is one negative result, meaning i have to take the MMR vaccine jab AGAIN (i heard that in singapore you got to take twice, i only take once in my lifetime ... so its the same dosage eventually?)... *ugh* so i happily tell the doctor that he can give it to me right away. i dont want to hustle back and forth just to get another jab. and so he did! it was quite a bloody jab, unlike normal jabs w/o blood, this one ... got some blood oozing out after the jab. doctor told me to press on the wound ... and so i did!
then i realised, i didnt bring money. so i called my mum to bring for me while she fetched me.
mum: you wait at the roadside ah, i pass you the money then you hustle and pay up and jump back to the car ...
me: *nods nods*
very hot and bright morning (today is) ... i waited for my mum at the pavement outside the clinic ... blistering sun ... i suddenly feel faint, wanted to puke, seeing stars and black backgrounds ...
i moved towards a shaddier spot, hold on to my handphone and documents tightly on one hand and the clinic glass door on the other. tried to blink and blink and .............. i lost it ... i FAINTED!
i fainted side ways and lied still on the side of the pavement ... body very straight¶llel ... then i saw this indian lady scream for help and the clinic ppl rushed out ... i was thinking,"damn .. the pavement so dirty" but i continued to lay there and wait for ppl to heave me inside the clinic again.
so the indian lady carried me in with the help of the nurse. i was super weak and unsteady. fainted again on the floor then they heaved me on the chair and dr gary keong rushes out (all along i saw flashes of ppl around me, talking loudly, big commotions, but i cant hear anything)...
i dont know how they managed to carry me to the room, but when i open my eyes again, i was on the floor of the patient room. dr gary keong was talking and talking ... i felt better then.
then my hp rang (its my mum) ... OBVIOUSLY, she was freaking angry i'm not at the roadside waiting for her ... i can hear her complaining ... (oh the nurse pick up the call unwillingly! haha) then she told my mum i fainted ...
after i'm a bit 'sober' ... dr gary keong heaved me to the bed and asked me to rest ... he said my face is placid white ... no blood goes to my head that's why i fainted (so he inclined the bed so that blood rushes to my head). AND i'm not suppose to be running about (without 20 min rest at the waiting area) after my MMR jab. he forgot to inform me that's why -.-
felt numb on my nose and forehead and i was tearing (not crying mind you!)
dr keong turn up the aircon and felt my pulse, i was much much much better already ... at least i'm sane ... mum rushed in moments later *uber kanchiong* saw that i'm fine ... dr keong told her to relax and stand outside while i'm under his 'monitor'
the clinic was pretty packed then ... poor patients ... no nurse / doctor to attend to them (longer wait hah!) mum checked that i'm fine ... she paid the bill and rushes back to the car (she anyhow parked somewhere and forgot to lock it too!)
so after a good rest, dr keong gave me a blood pressure test, check my lungs, check my heart, prick my middle finger (for blood sugar test) and then i get to go home already ...
my hair and clothes are dirty -.- (the dirty pavement!!!) and i'm pale and i'm weak ...
WHAT AN ADVENTURE RIGHT?!!??!?! FIRST TIME FAINT LERH!!! OMG!
mum: you shouldnt move about when you just take the jab. no need to wait outside, weather so hot! no wonder u fainted! scare me! nxt time wait inside for me ... i understand that you have a jab wat ... no hurry!
me: er .... you are howlering into the handphone just now when you call and i'm not there???
mum: *blush*

my diagnosis is that ... i lost too much blood for my wisdom teeth operation the day bfr (yest!) hence not enuf blood on the head.
this time around, the operation is much more painful ...
"bigger teeth and longer roots,"said the dentist. it was pretty horrible ... the dentist was yanking my head a few times ... i tot my skull will break. he almost gave up yanking 5 times! its was so deep and so hard. the nurse was pitying me so much. she stroked my head for comfort.
but the good thing is that, there is much less swelling and after the 2 hours of crucial pain in the afternoon (when the painkillers run out) i was pretty fine and kicking and eating heartily :D
i got 5 stitches on my gum! lol ... that's pretty a lot right?

visited the music shop at peace centre before the surgery. so many music books! i can stay there for hours man!!! i bought 6 books for my students (planning to try out all the songs first bfr giving them ... pretty nice songs they have in the books! yay!) i saw a couple of 'famous and recognisable song titles' books, tempted to buy! shall make mum buy for me next time (: yes!!

okay~ so today is really an adventure =P dont want it to happen again tho ... if it happen again, hopefully a really gorgeous hunk is beside me or something (: haha ... will be much more fun then! tee-hee ...

got my visa! got all my health stuff done! its a day closer to SEPTEMBER! i'm within weeks to USA! now ... i just need to shop and shop and shop and eat! yipee~
