I'm sure every job has its own frustrations, be it the people, environment, workload, lunch, pay ... ETC!
my gosh ... there's just so much things to fret about when working!
* WELCOME TO THE WORKING LIFE!*
now i begin to believe the elders when they say that studying is sooo much easier.
you just have to study hard & pass examinations. NO other worries.
Plus, everyday you get to meet your friends, chat & have fun :)
On the other hand, working life is kinda mundane and repetitive. haiz...
However this is just the begining of my working life! I'm going to work hard.
Princess is soo frustrated from the HEAVY workload, while i'm so frustrated from the LITTLE workload ... (lol, first time you hear of people complaining of no work to doyea?)
How ironic ... if only we could divide the work equally among us.
Well at least, it's not that bad, we dont have to worry about lunch time because we have each other & 4 other people to lunch with :)
Currently i'm getting more work too!
This is my 4th week at work already. okay i'm starting to take a greater liking to the place, people & maybe work. My colleages are friendly and love to joke. BEST OF ALL I TELL YOU! OH MY GOSH, one of my colleages is Mr Lim's brother-in-law. hoho .. pressure. lol.
This morning I saw one of my managers walking behind me, so i held the door for him even though he's lyk probably 15 feet away. But, he saw me open the door for him so he ran towards office so that i can stop holding the door. haha .. so cute!
The environment here is super relaxed. Some people like to 'blast' their music so i'm hearing like 3 songs at one go, what more is that they may be of different languages. woah ... ok-ay! save time, expose myself to more songs .. haha, lame!!! But that's the best part of work, hearing music while working :) thankfully my nearest neighbour (colleage) loves korean dramas & shows, which is exactly what i love! whoops! Another of my colleage is a drummer .. wow, it's quite cool when he 'drums' along to those rapid pop/metallic music.
My work entails more moving about than steph's job. Thus, i often take the lift up & down to various offices. I take the lifts sooooo often that this cleaner recognises me & can even hold a conversation with me!!! it's so funny la. everytime the lift door opens ... i see his face, he sees mine & we would laugh a silly laughter. *doinkss....
the worst part about working is the travelling part. everyday i have to take the SUPER ULTRA crowded mrt. ewww ... i hate it when people (esp guys) brush sooo freaking close to me & touch where they're not supposed to touch!!!! argh. oh another thing my fren says is, she hates eating other people's hair. SO TRUE. LOL. Put that one side. today i saw 2 couples taking the mrt together. oh my, they're so sweet & thoughtful of each other. the guys will put a protective hand around each other's wives and draw them close to their selves, preventing others to bump into their wives. when the time comes, they'll bid farewell & part, heading off to their respectively office destination. lol, next time i dont mind travelling this way to work with my husband, even if it means that we have to take the ultra crowded train.
well working is definitely a totally different experience. no matter what happens ... come what may! i cant do things i like so i'm going to like the things i do. i'm planning on giving tuition too cause i love teaching :) i'm really going to work hard. push myself to the limits!
